The task for the morning was to cut down the young Gorse bushes in Glade 3 Brush cutters had been at work earlier cutting the Gorse to ground level. Volunteers, either continued to cut the Gorse using loppers, or raked up the cut Gorse on to tarpaulins..These were dragged into the woodland to form habitat piles . By the end of the morning the whole patch had been cleared. We were accompanied by two staff from Pets4Home doing their annual voluntary work. Neville thanked the group for their hard work.
