On a cold, windy but sunny morning, brush cutters had been at work earlier when the volunteers arrived. The task was to cut vegetation, along a path, rake it and dispose of in the adjacent woodland. Old fencing posts and barbed wire were then removed. All the separated posts and the wrapped coils of barbed wire were put to one side for disposal.
