Ingoldisthorpe Churchyard on the 26.10.26.
Leader Sue listed a variety of tasks for the morning; from removing a patch of deep-rooted grass, cut back over hanging branches from trees, planting up Foxgloves, in place of Nettles, and brush cutting/raking an area of False Oat grass. An old rubbish heap was also separated into grass cuttings and wooden branches. Cuttings were added to the pile of soft vegetation due for composting and all the wooden branches were carried to a habitat pile established in the corner of the Churchyard, as a new site for insects and small mammals.
Sue thanked everyone for the sterling work done this morning.
