With an almost full complement of volunteers, the task was at the ‘Snake Pit’, to continue to cut back the Gorse and Silver Birch. Tools were carried to the site and the majority set aboutcutting Gorse. Phillip, John and Henry cut down the Silver Birch at the waterlogged border of the site. The cut trunks were trimmed of their side branches then carried to the edge of the path to form a pile for local use. The activity was drawn to an early close because of the continuous heavy rain. The Rangers from Norfolk Wildlife Trust thanked the group for their efforts.
