A large number of volunteers met at Salters Sanctuary They picked up litter from all over the site and reduced the vegetation on the paths, and that overhanging the paths or encroaching from the side of the paths. An area of reeds dominating the central Meadow were removed to allow an increase in biodiversity to occur. At the end of the morning John thanked the volunteers for their efforts.
