On an exceptionally hot morning it was agreed to carry out a short task of tidying the Sanctuary as necessary. Litter picking was the main task in glades where people had been gathering. Around the paths Brambles were beginning to encroach so were cut back and dead flowerheads of Thistles removed to try and avoid the spread of seed. Some trees in the Hawthorn area had been pulled over, so were removed for safety. Woodchip was laid to clearly mark one of the paths.
