In the first part of the morning Brushcutters cut the meadow near the entrance and a group of litter pickers went to work. After the break these volunteers moved to raking the cut grass. In the Hawthorn scrub, trees at one site were pollarded shoulder height to extend glades and form a cline with previous pollarded Hawthorn. A good morning’s work despite the drizzle.
