Today was a Nature Walk led by Gary, who early on pointed out trees and bushes nibbled by Muntjac . With a drought, the grass on the path was largely yellow but herbs such as the small Mouse eared Hawkweed, Purple Storksbill, Creeping Buttercup and Bulbous Buttercup still survived.Coarse grasses, reeds and shrubs grew in an enclosed area grazwd by two Red Poll cattle. Birds seen included Whitethroat, Reed Bunting, Sedge Warbler and Stone Chat. Out on the estuary there were Sheldrake, Grey Plover and Sea gulls and in shore. Brent Geese and Oyster Catchers. Swallows and Swifts flew overhead.
