Today we had staff from BCKLWN spend the morning at Salters Sanctuary, as part of their annual allowed day to volunteer.
We were grateful for their enthusiasm in carrying out routine tasks. two were litter picking with two of our own volunteers.
The rest helped to barrow and spread wood chips on the path through the Hawthorn Arch.
After a coffee break the staff helped Pollard Hawthorn, while a couple of our volunteers tried to cut out a supermarket trolley embedded in a tree.
We were thanked for the time spent with us and in turn thanked them for their hard work.
